Rockwood Increases Contract Prices for Granular ColorsBeltsville, MD USA (September 17, 2008) – Rockwood Color Pigments & Services Division announces an increase up to 40% on contract prices for its Granufin® and Ferrispec® GC products in N. America with immediate effect or as supply agreements allow. The increase is in response to unrelenting increases in raw material costs that have impacted pigment products. Rockwood’s Color Pigments & Services Division is one of the largest worldwide suppliers of iron oxides and colored inorganic pigments for construction, coatings, plastics and specialty applications.
